NAPTIP rescues 13-year-old trafficking victim from Burkina Faso

The Ogun State Command of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons has successfully repatriated a 13-year-old victim of s€x trafficking from Burkina Faso to Nigeria.The victim, a tailoring apprentice, was reportedly trafficked to the French-speaking country last year by her 26-year-old divorced employer, Omotola Adedibu.According to NAPTIP, the teenager was subjected to s€xual exploitation in Burkina Faso and forced to engage in s€xual activities with multiple men daily in order to repay a debt of 1.3 million CFA francs to a woman identified as Madam Sweet.The Ogun (…)
