Kwara Schools Reopen Amid Improved Security

In a significant step toward restoring normalcy in education amid ongoing security challenges, the Kwara State Government has directed the immediate reopening of all schools across the state, effective Monday, February 2, 2026.The announcement came in a statement issued on Sunday by the Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Dr. Lawal Olohungbebe, and signed by the ministry’s Press Secretary, Peter Amogbonjaye.
