Obi, Atiku Didn’t Fight for Democracy – Lagos APC

The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has again lashed out at Peter Obi and former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, challenging their democratic credentials. This is as the party alleged that the duo lacks historical commitment to Nigeria’s pro-democracy struggle. The Lagos APC said this in a statement titled “Democracy Without Sacrifice: The Myth of Obi and Atiku”. According to the party, democracy is sustained by sacrifice, consistency, respect for institutions and fidelity to the will of the people, not by selective outrage or convenience-driven politics.
