Student ‘commits suic!de’ after ‘losing N600k rent to betting’

A 300-level student of the department of computer science at the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai (IBBUL) in Niger state, has reportedly committed su!cide. The Niger state police command confirmed the death of the student. The student, identified as Kelvin Danlami, was said to have ended his life after losing N600,000 to betting. There are unconfirmed reports that the N600,000 was entrusted to Danlami for house rent, but he spent it on gambling.
