Trump imposes 25% tariff on countries trading with Iran

US President Donald Trump has announced a 25 percent tariff on any country doing business with Iran. In a post on his Truth Social platform on Monday, Trump said the tariff was “effective immediately” and described the decision as “final and conclusive”. “Any country doing business with the Islamic Republic of Iran will pay a tariff of 25 percent on any and all business being done with the United States of America,” he wrote.
