Ahead of the 2027 general elections, Senator Datti Baba-Ahmed has reaffirmed his commitment to the Labour Party (LP), insisting he remains loyal to the platform that produced him as the vice-presidential candidate in the 2023 polls. Baba-Ahmed, 56, was the running mate of Peter Obi in the last presidential election, which the LP candidate lost to Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
