FG Allocates N10.61bn for Overhaul of VP Shettima’s Aircraft Engines in Three Years

The Federal Government has earmarked a total of N10.61 billion for the overhaul of engines on the Gulfstream G550 aircraft assigned to Vice President Kashim Shettima over a three-year period, according to an analysis of appropriation bills from 2024 to 2026.The aircraft, with registration number 5N-FGW, received the largest single allocation for engine overhaul within the Presidential Air Fleet, representing 55 per cent of the cumulative N19.27 billion budgeted for engine maintenance across the entire fleet under the administration of President Bola Tinubu.Budget documents reviewed by The (…)
