Police suspend enforcement of tinted glass permit policy over court order

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has suspended the enforcement of the tinted glass permit policy in compliance with a court order. The enforcement of the policy was scheduled to commence on January 2, 2026. However, Benjamin Hundeyin, the force spokesperson, said in a statement on Thursday that the policy has been suspended pending the hearing and determination of the substantive suit or the vacation of the order.
