NASS Clarifies Alleged Discrepancies in Gazetted Tax Acts

The National Assembly has moved to dispel public concerns regarding alleged discrepancies in the recently gazetted tax reform acts, announcing the release of certified copies of the bills signed by President Bola Tinubu for public verification.In a statement issued on Thursday by the Director of Information, Mr. Bullah Bi-Allah, the Assembly confirmed that the Clerk has been directed to make available the transmitted tax bills, complete with certificate pages, to enable independent scrutiny.Bi-Allah noted that management had acknowledged reports of differences between the National (…)
