NDLEA Seizes Illicit Drugs Hidden in Snails, Bulbs, Meant for UK, US, DRC

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have intercepted illicit drug consignments concealed in frozen snails, electrical bulbs, and female clothing, intended for the United States, United Kingdom, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.The seizures occurred at Murtala Muhammed International Airport and a courier company in Lagos. Two suspects are in custody. On October 7, cargo agent Boladale Riliwan was arrested after NDLEA officers found 15 parcels of skunk (a cannabis strain) hidden in 10 large rechargeable electrical bulbs destined for the DRC.On October 12, (…)
