Kaduna police violating constitution – El-Rufai reacts to summon over ADC meeting

Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has accused the state Commissioner of Police of violating the constitution. El-Rufai said the summon sent to him was a dangerous descent into lawlessness by the state police Command. The state police command had earlier allegedly prevented a scheduled meeting of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, from holding in the state. The Command subsequently summoned El-Rufai and seven members of the ADC for questioning.
