Unity in diversity bedrock of progress – Atiku hails Hausa people

Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has harped on unity in diversity as the bedrock of progress in society. In a post via his official X handle to celebrate ‘Hausa Day’ on Tuesday, Atiku said the Hausa people, through their language, traditions, and enterprise, have left an indelible mark on West Africa and beyond. The 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, said the celebration is more than a cultural festival. He said it is a call to safeguard their linguistic treasures, honour the resilience of their forebears, and inspire future generations to embrace unity (…)
