Police arrest eight over ‘mutilation of teenager’s scr0tum’ in Osun

The Osun police command says eight suspects have been arrested over the alleged mutilation of a 16-year-old boy’s scr0tum in Ikire, Irewole LGA of the state. In a statement on Monday, Abiodun Ojelabi, the command’s spokesperson, said the arrests followed a July 26 incident in which the victim was attacked in a bush. Ojelabi said three suspects from Apomu had gone to farm in the Arademi area of Ikire when two of them lured the boy to a secluded spot. According to him, the suspects allegedly cut the boy’s abdomen in an attempt to remove vital organs, but ended up taking only his scr0tum (…)
