Socio-political activist, Aisha Yesufu, has revealed that Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential flagbearer of the Labour Party, LP, has assured her in private conversations that he will serve a single term if elected as president. She stated this on X on Sunday, quote-tweeting Obi’s post in which he reiterated his desire to spend one term in office. According to Yesufu, the former Anambra governor always maintained the stance from when he contested in 2023, using Nelson Mandela as a template.
