Governor Namadi Secures Federal Approval to Transform Dutse Airport into Cargo Hub

Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi has announced a major step forward in his administration's plan to reposition Dutse International Airport as a dedicated cargo hub. The state government has obtained official approval from the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN commonly referred to as FAN in reports) to proceed with the installation of essential cargo facilities at the airport.The announcement came during a routine inspection and calibration exercise at the airport on Sunday, carried out by a technical team from the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA).
