Troops stationed at the 9th Mile axis in Enugu State have successfully rescued five kidnapped victims after swiftly repelling an armed attack on commuters by suspected criminals.Security sources reported that the incident took place around 6:55 p.m. on February 20, 2026, when assailants ambushed travellers heading toward Anambra State.Upon receiving a distress call, the troops moved rapidly to the scene and engaged the attackers in a fierce gun battle.
