Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force Counter Terrorism Unit successfully repelled a suspected bandit attack along the Maje border road in Kebbi State on Thursday night, February 20, 2026.The incident occurred around 9:45 pm when armed men, believed to be members of the Lakurawa criminal network, advanced toward security positions.
