Dele Momodu, the publisher of Ovation magazine, has reassured the public that the family is working to resolve the child custody dispute between Davido and his cousin Sophia Momodu. The legal battle concerns the custody of Imade Adeleke, Davido’s daughter with Sophia. The pair dated in 2015, and their daughter was born on May 14 of that year. In 2024, Davido filed a motion at a Lagos high court, seeking unrestricted access to his daughter. However, Sophia responded by arguing that she had never denied him access to the child.
