Federal Ministry of Interior Records Zero Capital Releases for 2024, 2025

The Federal Ministry of Interior has been added to the list of five ministries that have complained of zero or little capital disbursement in the country’s 2025 budget. The Minister of Interior Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo said his ministry received zero capital budget allocation for two consecutive fiscal years, 2024 and 2025. Tunji-Ojo made the revelation during a recent budget defense session before the joint committees of the Senate and the House of Representatives in Abuja.
