ASUU commences indefinite strike at Taraba varsity

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Taraba State University (TSU), Jalingo Chapter, has announced the resumption of its previously suspended indefinite strike action.The resumption of the strike coincides with the beginning of the Christian season of Lent and the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.The Union stated that the move follows the failure of the state government to implement the agreement reached on January 17, 2025.In a statement signed by the Union’s Chairman, Dr Joshua Garba Mbave, and issued to newsmen on Wednesday, the Union noted that key “grey areas” in the agreement (…)
