Hope Uzodimma, governor of Imo state and chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum, says the defection of Abba Yusuf, Kano state governor, to the All Progressives Congress (APC) has placed the state on the path of progress. Vice-President Kashim Shettima formally welcomed Yusuf to the APC at a grand rally held at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano on Monday. The governor had told thousands of supporters present at the rally that Kano can no longer be sidelined from the centre.
