NSCIA announces search for new moon to begin Ramadan

The Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) has announced that Muslims in Nigeria will be searching for the crescent moon to mark the beginning of Ramadan 1447 A.H. on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
