Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, on Sunday visited the Singer Market in Fagge Local Government Area of Kano State to commiserate with traders devastated by a massive fire outbreak that destroyed goods and properties valued at over ₦5 billion.The inferno, which began on Saturday and raged into the following day, affected more than 1,000 businesses and left seven people missing, marking one of the worst disasters in the market's recent history.
