Senate to reconvene Tuesday despite scheduled two-week break

The Senate will reconvene for plenary on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. This was revealed in a statement released on Sunday by Emmanuel Odo, Clerk of the Senate House of Assembly. Odo explained that he was acting on instructions from Senate President Godswill Akpabio to formally notify all lawmakers of the schedule.
