Court dismisses application seeking Tunji-Ojo’s NYSC record

A federal high court in Abuja has declined a request seeking to compel the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to disclose details of the discharge certificate of Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, minister of interior. In a ruling delivered on Friday, Joyce Abdulmalik, the presiding judge, held that the ex parte application did not meet the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FoI) Act. The application was filed by Emorioloye Owolemi, an activist, through his counsel, Philemon Yakubu.
