E-transmission: It’s a lie – Obidient Movement counters Akpabio’s ‘no network’ claim

The National Coordinator of Obidient Movement, Yunusa Tanko, has said the comment by Senate President Godswill Akpabio that nine states do not have adequate mobile network that would facilitate electronic transmission of election results is a lie. Tanko said if banks are working, then electronic transmission of election results should be easy. In a phone-in conversation with Nigeria Info FM 99.3, Tanko said: “It’s a total lie, but if they want to withdraw money, it’s easy for them to withdraw. Is there any bank that has ever complained that there is no network for you to withdraw money? (…)
