Lagos-Abeokuta road to be closed partially for repairs

The Lagos State Government has announced a partial closure of the Lagos–Abeokuta Expressway for a period of four weeks.The closure, starting Wednesday, February 11, is to enable the Federal Ministry of Works to carry out rehabilitation on failed sections of the road.The state Commissioner for Transportation, Mr Oluwaseun Osiyemi, disclosed this in a statement posted on the Lagos State Ministry of Transportation’s X handle on Tuesday.According to Osiyemi, the rehabilitation will cover the stretch from U-Turn Bus Stop to Sango Tollgate, affecting both inbound and outbound lanes of the (…)
