Chairman of Odukpani Local Government Area in Cross River State, Hon Ukpong Asido, has suspended two aides over their involvement in what the council described as indecent and degrading social media videos.The aides, Mr Kelvin Okon, a non-statutory special assistant to the chairman, and Mr Edet Okon, official personal assistant to the council secretary, were placed on indefinite suspension with effect from 9 February 2026.A statement signed by the chairman on Tuesday said the suspension followed the aides’ participation in social media content considered unbecoming of public officers and (…)
