The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, on Tuesday confirmed that President Bola Tinubu intervened in the ongoing crisis between Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State and the state House of Assembly. Addressing journalists in Abuja, Wike said this would be the last time that Tinubu would intervene in the ongoing political crisis between Fubara and the Rivers legislature. According to Wike, this is the second and final time that the president would intervene in the crisis between the governor and the state assembly.
