Activist lawyer, Deji Adeyanju on Tuesday expressed optimism that former Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, and ex-Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, would soon join the ongoing Occupy National Assembly protest. The demonstration follows the Senate’s passage of the Electoral Act 2022 Amendment Bill 2026 through a third reading, during which lawmakers removed the phrase “real-time” transmission of election results from the bill.
