Cross River magistrates resume strike over unmet demands

The Cross River chapter of the Magistrates Association of Nigeria has resumed its suspended industrial action over the state government’s failure to meet their demands.The association noted that as of midnight on Sunday, February 8, the government had not engaged with MAN to avert the industrial action.It would be recalled that the association had issued a strike notice to the government on February 2.In a letter on Monday signed by its Chairman and Secretary, Godwin Onah and Solomon Abuo, respectively, the magistrates said the decision to resume the suspended strike was taken at their (…)
