Police officer returns N2.6m erroneously transferred to his bank account

Mohammad Muhammad, a police officer serving in the Borno state police command, has returned N2.6 million that was mistakenly transferred into his bank account. While sharing a post by Bello Jafar on Facebook, Nahum Daso, the state police spokesperson, praised the officer for showing integrity and choosing to return the funds. “I would like to formally express my appreciation for Mohammad Alhaji Muhammad, a loyal customer of United Bank for Africa (UBA) and a police officer of exceptional integrity,” he wrote.
