Vice President Kashim Shettima will preside over a two-day National Economic Council (NEC) Conference starting Monday, February 9, 2026, as the Federal Government seeks to bolster economic coordination and accelerate inclusive growth across Nigeria's 36 states.According to a statement issued by Stanley Nkwocha, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications in the Office of the Vice President, the conference will bring together governors of all 36 states, along with key national stakeholders.
