APC Replaces Hope Uzodimma with Aminu Masari as 2026 Convention Committee Chairman

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has relieved Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma of his position as Chairman of the Central Coordination Committee for the 2026 National Convention and appointed former Katsina State Governor Aminu Bello Masari in his place.Governor Uzodimma, who was originally named to lead the committee, has now been reassigned to serve as the treasurer of the expanded body.The party also increased the committee's membership from 73 to 90 to allow for greater inclusion of key stakeholders.
