2027: Kwankwaso has never held talks with APC over defection – NNPP

Dipo Olayoku, the National Secretary of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, has dismissed reports of the party’s former presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, holding talks over a possible defection to the All Progressives Congress, APC. Olayoku insisted that there was never a time that Kwankwaso held talks with the APC over possible defection to the ruling party. In an interview on Trust TV, Olayoku said Kwankwaso last met with President Bola Tinubu in January 2024 in company of Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State.
