Oyebanji gifts Ekiti fire victims N35m

The Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, on Tuesday distributed N35 million to persons whose properties were recently gutted by fire.The governor said the government spent about N100m on such occurrences in the last 12 months.Oyebanji, represented by the deputy governor, Mrs Christiana Afuye, made the disclosure in Ado Ekiti while distributing cheques to the second batch of fire disaster victims in the state.The deputy governor said that the state government in 2025 expended an aggregate of N150m to mitigate the suffering of rainstorm victims across the 16 council areas, saying, “This (…)
