93% of Nigerians use AI tools well above global average — Google

Google says Nigerians are not just embracing artificial intelligence (AI) but are leading the charge globally. In its report on Tuesday, titled “Our Life with AI: Helpfulness in the Hands of More People,” Google said Nigerians are using AI tools for everything from education to entrepreneurship, showing immense optimism for the technology’s future. The survey found that 88 percent of Nigerian adults have used an AI chatbot — an 18-point increase from 2024 and well above the global average of 62 percent.
