Police investigates death of worshipper in Osogbo mosque

The Osun State Police Command has commenced full investigation into the death of a worshipper, following a violent confrontation around a central mosque in Osogbo on Friday morning.The deceased, identified as Hameed Najeem, reportedly lost his life after an incident that followed the dawn (Fajr) prayer at the Ummu Haani Adigun Memorial Central Mosque, located on B.A. Adigun Street, Ayedun Estate, Ogo Oluwa area of the state capital.Police sources said the situation escalated shortly after prayers when an altercation broke out involving Najeem and the mosque’s Imam, prompting panic among (…)
