Operatives from the Zamfara State Police Command's Anti-Illegal Mining Unit have recovered 2,500 litres of suspected hazardous and poisonous chemicals in Gusau Local Government Area.The seizure occurred on Tuesday, January 28, 2026, around 4:40 p.m., during a routine patrol in the Lalan area of Gusau.The chemicals were found stored in 100 jerricans, with each container holding 25 litres.
