Former presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has issued a stern warning over the defection of Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, from the party. The former Kano governor spoke in an interview on BBC Hausa. He cautioned that the governor’s exit from the party will lead to consequences, adding that Yusuf and others who left with him would, in time, come to regret their decision to abandon the platform that facilitated their rise to power.
