‘Oversabi Aunty’ crosses N1bn to become 4th highest-grossing Nollywood film

Toyin Abraham, the Nigerian actress, has recorded a new feat with her 2025 film ‘Oversabi Aunty,‘ which has grossed over N1 billion at the box office. FilmOne, the movie’s distributor, announced the achievement on Monday, stating that the movie has earned N1,017,201,953 from cinemas across West Africa. This makes ‘Oversabi Aunty’ the first Nollywood directorial debut to surpass N1 billion and the fourth highest-grossing Nollywood film of all time.
