Kano commissioner resigns, says govt has derailed

A Kano State Commissioner, Yusuf Kofarmata, has resigned his appointment as a member of the State Executive Council, citing what he described as a deviation from the political ideology that brought the current administration to power.Kofarmata announced his resignation in a statement on Sunday, saying the decision was taken in good faith and guided by conscience.“I hereby resign my appointment as commissioner and member of the Kano State Executive Council.
