Kwankwaso Declares January 23 ‘Day of Betrayal’ Over Abba Yusuf’s Defection

The presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, in 2023, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has declared January 23 as a “Day of Betrayal”. Kwankwaso made the declaration following Kano State governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf’s decision to dump the NNPP. Recall that Kano governor officially resigned from NNPP on Friday ahead of his imminent defection to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
