Muhammadu Sanusi II, the Emir of Kano, has officially begun attending undergraduate lectures at Northwest University, Kano, as a 200-level student in the Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) programme in Common Law and Sharia.The emir joined his classmates for classes on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, dressed in his signature black flowing apparel and white turban.
