Super Eagles: No contract extension discussion – NFF on Chelle’s status after AFCON

President of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Ibrahim Gusau, has revealed that there are currently no plans to offer Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle a new contract extension after the AFCON tournament in Morocco. Chelle was appointed coach of the Super Eagles in January 2025. The Malian led the three-time African champions to win Bronze after beating Egypt.
