Igbo community leaders visit Nnamdi Kanu in Sokoto prison

Leaders of some Igbo towns' unions in the northern part of the country during the weekend visited Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, leader, Nnamdi Kanu, at the Sokoto Prison. Kanu, who was on November 20, 2025 convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment on terrorism charges filed against him by the Nigerian government, is currently serving the sentence at the Sokoto Prison.
