Siminalayi Fubara, governor of Rivers, says he remains leader of the state despite the ongoing impeachment process initiated against him. Fubara spoke on Saturday at the grand finale of the 2026 NPA Port Harcourt International Polo Tournament, where he said he would continue to discharge his constitutionally required duties as governor.
