Bandits Kidnap Indian Expatriate, Kill Police Officer in Oyo Farm Attack

Armed bandits attacked an agricultural farm in Ogunmakin Village, Ibadan, Oyo State on January 16, abducting a 42-year-old Indian company director and killing a police officer who attempted to stop the kidnapping.The incident occurred around 1:00 p.m. at Aqua Triton Company farm, where approximately ten heavily armed bandits stormed the premises while Renjith Pillai, the director, was inspecting crops.Four officers from the Police Mobile Force (PMF) were providing security at the location.
