The Bauchi State Police Command has successfully de-escalated a tense situation on the busy Bauchi–Jos highway after truck drivers blocked the road in protest over the alleged damage to a colleague's truck tyre by revenue enforcement agents.The incident occurred around 8:45 a.m. on Friday, January 16, 2026, at the Miri axis of Bauchi metropolis.
