In a major boost to healthcare delivery in Yobe State, the state government has employed 2,500 health workers and upgraded five General Hospitals to Specialist Healthcare Facilities (SHFT).The Executive Secretary of the Yobe State Hospitals Management Board (YOHMB), Dr. Abubakar Yerima, made this known during an inspection tour of ongoing projects and a media briefing at the newly upgraded Specialist Hospital in Buni-Yadi, Gujba Local Government Area.According to Dr. Yerima, the four other hospitals elevated to specialist status are located in Gashua, Potiskum, Geidam, and Damaturu, the (…)
